Parents as Teachers News is a print vehicle that informs our network of early childhood professionals about issues critical to young families and Parents as Teachers programming. Produced by the national Parents as Teachers office, this quarterly newsletter targets more than 17,000 professionals connected to Parents as Teachers. Articles touch on supervision, advocacy, resources, new products, services and training.

Opportunities exist for sponsorship and editorial content (that is not promotional in nature) with logo placement (if desired).

Curricula—Parents as Teachers offers more than a dozen professional curricula to the early childhood field.

Limited opportunities exist for appropriate cost underwriters or distribution partners, which may include logo placement and/or a message from the partner. These opportunities are very limited and dependent on scheduling. Note: Parents as Teachers will not develop new curricula for partners.

ELECTRONIC

Parents as Teachers sends a monthly e-newsletter to more than 700 subscribers who have opted in to receive information about early childhood education events, resources, new products and special offers. Through Parents as Teachers’ own promotional efforts, our list of e-newsletter subscribers is growing every day!

Opportunities exist for newsletter sponsorship (including company logo and links), product placement and editorial content.

CONFERENCE AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Parents as Teachers Conference is held every other year in St. Louis, drawing nearly 1,000 early childhood professionals at all levels from government, education, health and social service sectors.

Opportunities exist for brand awareness and marketing to attendees:

  • Event, keynote and reception sponsorships
  • Workshop presentations
  • Exhibits
  • Literature distribution
  • Product placement in print and electronic vehicles
  • Scholarships, recognitions and awards

Special Events—Parents as Teachers holds more than 250 training events across the country each year. Between 35-50 early childhood professionals attend each one.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Parents as Teachers has an active social media presence on Twitter (550+ followers), Facebook (1,600+ fans), YouTube and a blog.

Opportunities exist for social media posts, links and shares and can be combined as part of an overall partner strategy

SPEAKERS BUREAU

Parents as Teachers subject matter experts are available to speak on topics ranging from brain development and parenting support to nonprofit management and workforce development.

Opportunities exist to bring a Parents as Teachers speaker to national, state or local events.

PRIVATE PORTAL PRESENCE

This program puts your campaign inside our private portal and in front of the 10,000 parent educators who work directly with families. It could be coupons, access to special offers or pricing, product information, or links to your web site or videos. You provide explanatory text for our portal landing page, we provide links to your online offer/material. This kind of campaign can live up to 12 months on our portal which is accessible only by certified parent educators working through our affiliates.
