The following lists are meant as guidelines for programs building their book collections and for parents choosing books for their children. There are many books that might fit into these categories; the suggestions listed here are examples. Parents as Parent Educators should choose books that fit the interests of the child, support the culture of the family, and represent local authors. You can order these books through the link to Amazon.com on the home page of our Web site or through the direct links from some of the books in the lists below.
